Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Location: Dunstable

We are seeking a friendly and experienced waiter/waitress to join our team. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders from customers, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide menus

Take orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system

Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner

Ensure that customers have everything they need throughout their dining experience

Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations

Upsell food and beverage items to customers

Handle cash and credit card transactions and process payments

Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that customers have an enjoyable dining experience

Ensure that tables are clean and set up correctly for each customer

Follow all safety and health regulations

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a waiter/waitress

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: £6.82-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dunstable: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (required)
• Serving: 1 year (required)
