Birmingham Airport Terminal Cleaner

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Carrying out varied cleaning tasks, as part of a friendly team for a major airport cleaning company.

Your main aim will be to carry out a range of activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, washing floors with floor cleaning machines, also emptying bins and cleaning wash rooms, restrooms, offices, in baggage areas, etc.

You will also:

• Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
• Deal with any customer requests if required

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
• Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment
• Right to Work in the UK
• Five year fully checkable reference history
• Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
• Valid form of photo ID i.e passport/driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £10.42-£10.92 per hour
