Role Overview & Responsibilities

About us:

We run 3 different pizza vans at weddings, festivals, breweries, and corporate events across the South West and beyond.

Who we're looking for:

As we gear up for another busy season we're on the lookout for some new staff with a passion for great pizza. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and a hard-working attitude.

This is a flexible hours part-time role. However, weekend and evening availability is essential.

The job:

This role would suit anyone looking for a fun, varied, and challenging position in a street food setting. The job takes skill but everything can be taught withe the right attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Prepping for events at our unit (based in Westerleigh BS37 8RS)
• Helping with set up and pack down before and after events
• Stretching, topping, and cooking pizzas to order
• Handling cash and card transactions and serving customers
• Assisting with clean down and wash up after events

Essential:

• An eye for detail
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Willingness to clean
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Flexible with working late nights (up to 1AM)

Desirable:

• Experience of Neapolitan style pizza
• Driver's licence
• Food Hygiene Level 2 Qualification

We offer competitive rates of pay starting at £11 an hour plus holiday pay, free pizza, uniform, access to some of the biggest festivals in the country, and a great work environment.

Our busy period starts in April (some shifts and training available before then) and runs through until the end of December). Some travel is necessary as we're a mobile business but lifts can often be provided.

Part-time hours: 5-25 per week

Salary: £10.00-£13.00 per hour

Experience:

• Food preparation: 1 year (preferred)
