Role Overview & Responsibilities

With the sense of ownership and pride in your performance, you will be:

• Leading and managing a team of software testers covering ecommerce and ERP/POS
• Hands-on testing software and systems solutions and organising the testing process.
• Involved in the development process to detect defects early.
• Utilising available resources to prepare and execute test strategies and plans.
• Liaising with 3rd parties on knowledge transfers.
• Translating functional requirements and specifications into test plans, cases, and steps
• Creating and maintaining testing documentation, to track issues you found.
• Reporting, documenting and communicating your findings across the business functions
• Helping to troubleshoot and support BAU issues and releases
• Evaluating and recommending tools and methods to ensure quality throughout development

A bit about you:

• Working knowledge of SDLC
• ITSQB (or equivalent) qualification
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with testing tools and defect tracking tools
• Strong understanding of ecommerce and web (frontend, backend, SEO, performance)
• Good understanding of ERP and business processes
