The Role: Machine Operative

Location: Hemswell, DN21 5TU

Shift Pattern/Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (12 hour days / 12 hour nights)

Salary: £26,200 - £33,000 (The more you are willing to learn the more you will earn!)

We are the UK's largest and most technically advanced PET bottle recycling plant, we play a critical role in ensuring we continue provide environmental friendly packaging solutions to our customers. We are actively seeking for 2 motivated people to join our team as an operative at our large dynamic site in Hemswell.

Purpose of the role:
To ensure the Plant is configured and running to its highest potential in order to maximise the quality of material.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Process pre-sorted feed stock bales from Goods In through the Sort Plant Titechs, granulators and into the dry wash silos
• Monitor the settings and performance of the Titech units
• Ensure line is configured to achieving maximum output potential to granulators
• Carry out AM activity’s to ensure Titech operation is effective
• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
• Actively engage in the shift handover / team huddle process

What we are looking for:

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
