Role Overview & Responsibilities
A subsidiary of the Lincoln Electric Group, Weartech is a producer of cobalt and nickel based hard facing and wear-resistant alloys.
Due to exciting business growth, we are seeking furnace operators to join our team in Port Talbot, South Wales.
- Entry rate: £10.76 per hour
- After training period, normally between 3 and 6 months depending on previous experience, hourly rate will increase to £12.09
- Shift allowance applicable at 12.5% for AM/PM shifts and 30% for nights
- These are full time permanent positions, and are subject to a 6-month probationary period.
Although foundry experience would be advantageous, we are looking for candidates who have worked within a manufacturing facility previously and are able to demonstrate the below:
- Ability to problem solve
- Propose improvement ideas
- Able to work towards tight quality, environmental and safety controls.
