Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Role:-

We are looking for a Lead Delivery Driver. The role is available due to the promotion of our existing Lead driver who will train the successful candidate over a 3-month probationary period. Whilst there will be some warehouse duties, the main role is delivery of Beds and furniture with some assembly when required. The importance of having natural customer friendly attitude is essential together with the ability to work within a small team. You will be part of a small family business where excellent customer service is at the core of our success and your role will also involve ensuring that our customers enjoy a positive shopping experience with us. Delivery is the conclusion of the sale journey, and it is therefore important that all customers are left with a positive experience. Most of our business is from previous customers who are delighted with our service.

• Annual Salary: Basic Wage £25,000 + Bonus based on deliveries (Bonus will be made available after 3-month Probationary / Training Period)

• Delivery driver experience: 3 years (preferred)
• Driving: 5 years (preferred)
