Aircraft Passenger Seat Technicians
£25,000-£28,000 per annum dependent on experience/skills
Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week - Days, Afternoons and Nights shifts available
Aeroco Group is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based in Stockport. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a number of Aircraft Passenger Seat Technicians to strengthen our team and to support the growth of our business.
Technicians will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of aircraft passenger seats in a workshop environment and away from site.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- To be able to carry out basic service check IAW component maintenance manual on economy and premium economy passenger seats both in the workshop and away from base.
- To be able to carry out component replacement IAW CMM’s, modifications and service bulletins on economy and premium economy passenger seats
- To be able to understand and interpret CMM’s (Components Maintenance Manuals) (basic knowledge)
- To carry out basic communication with customers.
- To understand EASA/CAA regularity requirements.
- To carry out work activities and workshop administration in the seat workshop and away from base including correct completion of work cards.
- Ability to manage manually demanding work.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Basic workshop skills.
The successful candidate should:
- Be flexible in working hours to meet customer deadlines
- Have a can-do attitude and work ethic to achieve the workshop targets.
- Be confident in decision making
- Hold a full, clean driving licence and passport
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
