Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a manufacturing company located in Gainsborough on a permanent, full time basis.
Due to retirement, our client is in need of an accounts assistant to join the team. You will be supporting the management accountant and be responsible for processing the accounts data across the sales and purchase ledger.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
- Processing invoices
- Credit control
- Processing payments
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Processing of monthly/weekly expenses
- Input of labour hours to job costing records
- Bank reconciliations
- Providing finance and administrative support
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
- Experience in a similar role
- Confident Sage 50 and Excel
Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm / Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year
