Press Brake Operative
Wolverhampton
3pm-11pm
We are seeking a Time Served CNC Machinist to operate our NC Mitre Saw and Mecal 3+1 High Speed 3 Axis Milling Machine.
This role is ideally suited to a previously trained operator who wishes to progress into a Setter/ Operator role.
What you’ll be doing
- Setting machines to specific drawings and requirements.
- Bending & folding steel parts.
- Checking own component.
- Following Job Cards.
- Working on own initiative and meeting timescales for completion of tasks.
What we are looking for
- Amada, Baykal and Promecam press brakes experience.
- Reading engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Fork lift experience and license would be preferred, but not essential for the role.
- Work safely “Safety is our first language”.
- Strive to improve current methods and offer advise.
- Have a “Can Do” attitude, and thinks outside the box.
- Strong communication skills. • Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Report back any issues to the Supervisor.
- Advise of any issues with the components or tooling / machinery.
- Own the process and take it forwards to expand on capability.
