ceiling fixer

We are looking for experienced Self Employed Ceiling fixer for immediate start for works in Cardiff and surrounding areas.
Initially a temporary position but could lead to permanent employed post for the right candidate.

Responsibilities & Job Specification
-All aspects of ceiling fitting to include fitting MF & lay-in Grid ceilings.
-Must be prepared to travel for work so own transport is essential.
-Must be dependable and conscientious with a positive work ethic.
-Able to communicate effectively in order to liaise between the office and contractors on site on a daily basis.
-Must be able to work alone & as part of a team and manage your workload within given time restraints.
-Be committed to work safely and keep up to date with all H&S requirements including CSCS Card & HSE Testing
-Ensure all timesheets and associated paperworks are correctly filled and presented in a timely manner.
-Experience in other aspects of interiors fit out such as Partitioning/Dry Lining/Plastering/Decorating/carpentry etc would be an advantage but is not essential.

-You may, on occasion, be asked to visit other sites during your working day/week in order to help measure up for quoting purposes.

Qualifications & Experience
-NVQ qualification preferred however not essential - Experience and recommendation goes a long way

-Valid Working at height certification (or prepared to obtain)
-Valid CSCS Card essential (or at least prepared to obtain prior to commencement of work)

Salary
- Based on a combination of price work and dayrates
- Min £130 a day

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
