Warehouse Operative

We are looking for warehouse operatives to join our small team near Armthorpe in Doncaster. The role will mainly consist of scanning pallets and using an automated pallet wrapping machine to wrap pallets of pre packed bags of gravel and chippings and apply labels to them once wrapped ready for despatch. There is also an element of manual work involved - filling smaller bags with decorative stones and chippings to be sealed and stacked by hand but this is sporadic, also general housekeeping duties.

Ideal candidates should be Health & safety focused, versatile and have a keen eye for detail.

Currently working 8 hour shifts Mon - Fri but due to the seasonal nature of the business this will change during quieter trading months.

As advertised, this is a temporary role (6 month contract) but could lead to a full time job based on work ethic, attendance etc.

Starting rate is £10.21 going up to £11.00 after probationary period (12 weeks)
