AutoCAD Technician
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Overall Purpose of the Role
To provide support to the operational team of a fast-growing multi utility company.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate and comprehensive detailed drawings for the design team
Produce accurate As-laid drawings of laid mains and services
Ensure that relevant people and authorities are updated with latest records
Create and maintain drawing logs
Keep the electronic filing system up to date with latest plans and information
Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
Visit sites when required
Experience and Attributes Required
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English
Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of the Aptus Limited
Understanding of and commitment to the company values
Reports to: Regional Manager
Job Type: Full time, Permanent Position
Location: Aptus House, Unit 19-20 Wingates Business Park, Barrs Fold Road, Bolton, BL5 3XP.
Salary: Dependent upon experience
