My client is looking for an experienced customer focussed Claims Handler to join their busy team. As a Claims Handler you like to deliver high quality personal communication helping to promote client and insurer relations by telephone and email. Customer involvement is key to the Claims Handler role and you will need to possess a natural ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the New Business and Renewal teams, managing all midterm policy changes.
• Managing claims and servicing outcomes with our clients, insurers and partners
• Recognise and convert sales opportunities and be able to process a comprehensive range of transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Registering claims and maintaining client servicing records with total accuracy
• Always display excellent customer service and technical skills whilst processing and handling transactional duties.
• Providing professional advice based on a comprehensive assessment of the client’s needs and circumstances
• Accurately processing policies, associated transactions, and documentation

Experience

• A minimum of 12 months of motor or home insurance experience
• Customer Service experience including in and outbound call handling
• Office and administration experience
• Frequent use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations
• Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications (preferred)
