Cook / Coffee Shop Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an great opportunity to join our small coffee shop team at Ashton Gate Stadium as a Cook / Coffee Shop Assistant. The successful candidate will be preparing and serving food from our traditonal coffee shop menu.

Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown's sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.

Primary Objectives

• Prepare and serve foods including, Breakfasts, jacket potatoes, soups and paninis.
• Clean and sanitise all work surfaces and equipment as well as service areas
• Check food and equipment temperatures
• Follow open and close procedures
• Wrap label and date food items
• Build relationships with customers and help create a friendly atmosphere in the coffee shop
• Strictly follow food safety procedures

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced cook looking for a small team and kitchen to work in. They will have a passion for food and beverage and pride themselves on delivering an outstanding service to all our customers.

• Strong cooking experience in a similar establishment
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Full food safety and food allergens knowledge and training
• Shifts 8am or 9am - 4pm week days
• Able to work evenings and weekends for match day fixtures

Casual position: approximately 2 - 3 shifts per week, weekdays and covering Match Days, plus evenings and weekends as required.

£10 per hour

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
