Trainee Machine/Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Trainee Machine/Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Whetstone, Leicestershire. Full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided
• Assist with operating CNC machines, under supervision by Factory Manager
• Assist with the manufacturing, fitting and assembly of components for doors
• Support Factory Manager with loading and setting machines, changing tools on machines etc.
• Assist with moving, handling and storing material within the factory and warehouse
• Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries and assisting with the storage of goods to their correct location at the warehouse
• Perform other general warehouse and labouring duties as needed
• Follow Health & Safety policy and procedures

Requirements

• No previous experience required, but will be advantageous
• Positive attitude with willing to learn new skills
• Good communication skills
• Be a good team player as well as able to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as required

• Starting salary: £10.50 p/h, permanent role… good promotional opportunities within team, with pay rise
