Relief Collection & Delivery Driver- Holiday and Absence Cover ONLY

Badham Pharmacy are seeking to recruit a Collection & Delivery Driver to support our pharmacies in Gloucester and Churchdown. We require the successful candidate to work opposite our current drivers to cover holidays and any unplanned absences. We are initially seeking to appoint on a Zero Hours contract basis, but for the right candidate this may lead to an offer of more regular shifts on a permanent basis.

Your primary duties are to:

• 
  Deliver completed prescriptions from the pharmacy to patients at home
• Check items are being delivered to the correct recipient/address
• Obtain signatures for successful deliveries or leave card advising patient to collect medication from branch
• Collecting or returning prescriptions from surgeries
• Handover medication to patient/nominated representative when verified
• Check exemption or correct charge paid where required
• To liaise with and support the branch to provide an excellent service to our patients

You will be provided access to a company van for all deliveries. You will keep it clean and tidy and adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures at all times.

Applicants must hold a Full, Clean UK Driving Licence and good local area knowledge is essential. Experience providing healthcare and/or delivery services would be desirable. Full training (paid) will be provided to the successful candidate.
