Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting position has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced Pain Management Service as a Patient Pathway Administrator.

The ideal candidate will have a background working within the NHS or Healthcare Services and proven experience in a similar role and or strong understanding of Trust targets in relation to RTT and administrative duties would be advantageous. A dynamic attitude towards maintaining a successful process within a busy department is essential. You will work as admin support to support the Pain service ensuring that the administrative process are followed to a high standard and patient pathways are correctly adhered to. You should have the ability to work autonomously, be a creative thinker, be passionate about patient care and have strong communication skills.

You must be extremely organised with meticulous attention to detail, you will liaise at all levels with clerical, medical and nursing staff. Knowledge of Medway and the ability to book appointments , along with the ability to use excel spreadsheets would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

The post is critical to support the provision of a full, efficient, and effective administrative service whilst being committed to meeting the national targets within the diagnostic and RTT pathways. .
