Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for an assistant herds person to help manage our dairy herd of 350 Holstein cows. The role will be milking twice a day, morning milking is 3.30am to 7.30am afternoon milking is 2pm to 5.30 pm. Helping to feed and bed young-stock. We require Someone with high standards in health, welfare and hygiene. You will be working alongside a very experienced team and there will be a great opportunity to learn and further training will be provided. We have accommodation on site in the form of a large static caravan in very good condition. Experience in dairy preferred. Very competitive pay and accommodation package
