Role Overview & Responsibilities

HGV Brick Crane Operator £52,000 - £62,000pa

Bimson are now the leading independent nationwide brick & block haulage partner to the construction industry. The business is still Family owned, with the Head Office in Carlisle where it all began however, Bimson have a nationwide presence with 17 operating centres across the UK and its growing. Due to new vehicles additions, you have the chance to join this well established and growing business. Please see below key details and requirements to work with Bimson.

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Deliveries to building sites and building merchants

· Successfully operate an Atlas lorry loader (rear mounted or roller)

· Liaise with site manager regarding ETAs and problem solving

· Maintain the tidiness of the vehicle, equipment, and yourself

· Working away, for a minimum of 4 nights out per week

· The occasional Sunday start or run in Saturday (Paid extra, as overtime)

· Remain conscientious when driving and in front of the end users

Key Experience and Qualifications:

· C+E Entitlement

· An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card

· A strong understanding of the legal requirements regarding Driving Hours and Working Time

· An in date Allmi card with a C5 or F5 category (Brick grab attachment)

· Previous experience in delivering construction materials to building sites is beneficial but not essential
