Guitar Tutor Required – Marks Tey, Colchester

BOLT Music Tuition is a modern contemporary music service currently offering 1-2-1 guitar and drum lessons located in Marks Tey between Braintree and Colchester.

We are a small independently run guitar and drum tuition service operating from our dedicated studio/rehearsal unit in Marks Tey. Both of our guitar tutors are currently fully booked and so we’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to help us take on extra students either the during the week or at the weekend. We have a number of potential students waiting, however please appreciate it may take time to build your customer base.

All admin (email correspondence with parents, payments, bookings etc) is completed on your behalf so you're able to focus on just the teaching aspect of this role.

You must be enthusiastic, reliable and conscientious. Your own transport is essential.

This position may also be attractive to any mobile guitar tutors with existing students who would like to operate their tuition service from a fixed premises to allow them to minimise travel time/fuel expenses and teach their students back to back within a professional environment.

The ideal candidate will;

• be happy to engage with students and students parents
• be able to teach all ages and abilities
• be a motivated, punctual and professional teacher
• be able to commit to a regular teaching schedule
• be able to teach face to face lessons in a fun and engaging manner
• hold a DBS certificate or be happy to apply for one
• have prior teaching experience
• be able to teach graded studies such as Rockschool
• be able to learn and teach songs/riffs quickly at students request

Salary: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
