What is the purpose of the role?
This role is funded by Bolton Community Homes and hosted by Bolton at Home, providing support to local residents with securing and maintaining welfare benefit entitlements, negotiating and representing customers on matters of personal finance.
Why is the role important?
The role is important to ensure customers are provided with the right advice and support around welfare rights. The role also requires challenges of benefit decisions to ensure customers are in receipt of their full and accurate entitlement.
We’re current hiring for a Welfare Rights Officer, fixed term until March 2024.

All offers of employment will be made at the starting point of the relevant pay grade. Annual pay incremental rises will apply until the maximum increment point of the grade*.
