Kitchen Porter

A Kitchen Porter’s primary role is to maintain and manage the smooth running of their section, regarding cleaning of all crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils, management of waste disposal, insuring strict health & hygiene standards and to troubleshoot any problems.

Duties

• To ensure work area is kept to a safe and hygienic state at all times
• To ensure all kitchen opening and closedown procedures are adhered to
• To be flexible & willing to help other departments at busy times if required
• To support colleagues at all times to ensure team work is maintained
• To attend all statutory training as & when requested
• To arrive at work at the correct time and in the correct uniform ensuring it is in an immaculate condition
• To maintain your personal equipment used to fulfil your job i.e shoes to the required standard

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-45 per week

Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour
