Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are recruiting for Customer Service Agents (Check In)
The role
To provide all necessary help and support to passengers as required by our customer airlines which will include check in, baggage processing, reservations and ticketing, boarding of flights, greeting arriving passengers, handling of VIPs, provide special passenger assistance, aircraft cleaning and other duties as assigned.
You
- Flexible to work on various shifts to accommodate flights schedules (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) including early shifts (starting from 3.30 am onwards)
- Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able and willing to learn airline specific computer systems
- Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
- Willingness to work in inclement weather if required
- Passionate about customer service
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Due to the nature of the work you may be required to lift and move heavy objects.
What’s on offer
Competitive Pay
Starting rate of pay is £10.42 per hour, £16,255.20 – Pay award pending for April 2023 – rate will rise to a minimum of £10.65 per hour – £16,614 per annum for a 30 hour week once pay negotiations have concluded.
