Intern

Brace Studio are looking for an intern to help and learn about interior design and property development. You will be based in our central London office near Euston station.

The ideal candidate will need to be excited to learn, have great organisational and interpersonal abilities. You will need to be able to pick up new software and complex systems smoothly, full training will be provided, however self-tuition will be critical.

The work will sit between basic design and property based administration and will give the new team member the door into either a property or design based admin role depending on the candidates’ passions. Note this is not a creative designer role.

Roles and responsibilities:

• An ability and willingness to learn new software and systems.
• Creation, compilation, and entry into existing property based systems.
• Scanning of documents and filling of new projects.
• Translation of CAD drawings from one format to another
• Site visits for basic assistance to tenants and guests
• Site visits to assess damage and liaise with repair teams
• Working closely with the senior design team to perform basic design tasks

Candidates must be proficient in:

• A thorough understanding and enjoyment of computer based work
• A full and thorough understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• A thorough understanding of cloud based computing
• CAD skills are desirable but not essential
• Adobe Photoshop skills are desirable but not essential
