About the role…

As a member of the 'BGUK' Finance Leadership Team and Dental Executive Team, you will be responsible for leading the Bupa Dental Care finance team, driving strategy and financial performance within Bupa Dental Care.

The role is responsible for all finance and accounting operations, with a focus on ensuring high quality, accurate and timely information is provided to the business, and for ensuring that the business has appropriate financial controls.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a finance team of circa 50 for Bupa Dental Care (c. £500m)

• Drive financial performance alongside the General Manager, ensuring delivery of strategic objectives

• Drive the production of Management Information for Board

• Lead the budget process, ensuring appropriate targets at an individual practice and functional cost base are set

• Translate the business long term strategic direction to create a 5 Year Plan.

• Partner with Mergers & Acquisitions team

• Manage the year end close and relevant stakeholders

• Ensure a strong financial control culture across Bupa Dental Care

About you…

• Commercial Finance Director, passionate about transformation

• Multi-site (retail), Dental / Healthcare sector experience

• Track record of ensuring strong financial control across a large-scale regulated business

• Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and motivate large finance team

• Analytical mindset, able to interpret data and provide insights for executive level decision making.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Strategically focused qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
