Role Overview & Responsibilities
Buxton rugby club are seeking an enthusiastic level 2 head coach for the coming 2023-24 season.Buxton rufc began a rebuilding process last season and re entered the halbro leagues this season successfully securing promotion into halbro 3 for next season.Buxton RUFC is situated in Buxton (Derbyshire) with great facilities, including 2 full size pitches, a further pitch for junior rugby and additional playing areas. 2 story club house with 4 changing rooms, first aid room and store room. With bar and function room to the 1st floor.Following Buxtons rebuild process over the past 18 months Buxton has re-established a first team squad and started to build a mini and junior section, as the committee look to futurproof the club.Coach must be available for training Wednesday evenings (open to negotiation) and Saturday afternoons (matchdays).The coach will work closely with Buxtons DoR and 1st team captain, to ensure smooth running of the club and look to further develop the team throughout the season.With Buxton being a club ran on a voluntary basis, ideally we are looking for a coach to provide coaching on a voluntary basis, with Buxton RUFC providing the opportunity for coaches to attend courses such as coaching.
