Test Engineer – Work from home

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join an existing international team of developers and QA Engineers to work on cloud-based solutions. The role is fully remote working as the company are based in Malta. The salary is 35k – 45k euros and the successful candidate will be hired on a fixed term contract basis and will be responsible for their own taxes and national insurance. We expect the candidate to have at least 3+ years commercial experience.

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for the quality of existing Web applications, creating test scripts, diagnosing,reporting, tracking, development,maintenance and implementation of test cases and scripts.

The Automation Test Engineer will have knowledge of different types of testing with a strong focus on Automation. Experience of working in a C# environment and use of tolls such as Visual Studio, Chrome Developer Tools, Postman and/or Fiddler will be an advantage.

Software Testers will be working within a team spread internationally.

Experience on a web-based product, ideally built on the Microsoft Stack

Knowledge of Functional and non-functional testing

This Automation Test Engineer role will suit someone who has a background in testing responsive web apps and websites with demonstrable experience of the full test lifecycle.

It is essential that all Test Engineers have first class communication skills – both written and verbal, great team working skills,well organised, show initiative, logical thinker,work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
