We are Chatten Free School, a special needs provision located in the heart of Essex. We are currently recruiting passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants, titled as Tutors at Chatten Free School. The best part? No prior experience or qualifications are necessary! We are looking for individuals with resilience, drive, and ambition to grow with us and enhance the lives of our pupils. The majority of staff recruited will be for a September 2023 start date.

As a Tutor at Chatten Free School, you will have increased responsibilities, freedom to innovate, and competitive pay. You will work hands-on with pupils in a fast-paced teaching assistant role, implementing an individualised curriculum and preparing resources for class. You will also have the opportunity to receive considerable specialized training and support in a range of important skills and access to opportunities for professional development within our structure.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the desire to learn something new and put this into practice, be flexible, adaptable, and resilient, have a proactive and professional approach to work, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to play and actively engage with pupils. You will also need to be a team player, willing to form and maintain positive and educationally productive relationships with the children and young adults of the school.
