We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our innovative, supportive and highly valued team of educational psychologists (EP) working on the beautiful island of Jersey.

As an EP you will be working within a needs-led service model that supports a graduated approach with a focus on building capacity to ensure that every child has a bright future, and to be a part of the service making sure that ambition becomes a reality.

We are looking for innovative staff to join our Psychology and Well-Being Team (PAWBS).

As an EP, you will be a part of the wider Inclusion Service providing advice, training and services that improve the outcomes of children and young people while reducing educational inequalities. You will be reporting to the Principal Education Psychologist | Service Manager of PAWBS, you will join the Department for Children, Young People, Education and Skills.

We are committed to ensuring that the Inclusion Service supports better outcomes for Jersey’s children and young people. So, if you have recognised qualifications with significant experience across working with vulnerable learners, using a range of educational strategies and interventions, then you may well be the perfect match for us. All you need is plenty of resilience, exceptional communication skills and a desire to improve the outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

  • BSc in Psychology (must be a degree course recognised by the British Society (BPS)
  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology and /or Master’s degree in Educational Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) as an Educational Psychologist
