Paint Sprayer

Cove Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a permanent Paint Sprayer on behalf of a client in the Blackwood area.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced paint sprayer looking for permanent work. It's ESSENTIAL that you have experience of paint spraying on a fast paced production line.

Job Requirements

· Capable of prime and gloss painting the full range of products.

· Skilled in using HVLP paint guns at the specified air/paint ratios to ensure the correct spray pattern is maintained at all times.

· Able to stir, thin and mix prime and gloss paint to the correct ratios as per the paint specifications.

· Capable of quality checking own work by examining all surfaces ensuring the customer specifications are met by checking coverage, thickness, colour matching and ensuring the surface is free from runs and drips.

· Ability to maintain all equipment by ensuring the correct cleaning procedures are followed and replacing parts as necessary.

· Proficient in masking products prior to painting.

· Use of rollers and paint brushes for touch up.

· Fully Forklift Trained

Further information

· Working hours 10pm – 6am Sunday to Wednesday and Thursday 10pm – 4am

· Rates - £11.37 hourly, plus £1.65 per hour shift allowance

· There is also an overtime rate of £17.06 on Saturday and £19.90 on Sunday
