Role Overview & Responsibilities
To provide a highly efficient and comprehensive, professional and confidential Executive Assistance to Executive Directors/AMD’s across the full range of their responsibilities, acting as the main channel for communication between the Executive Directors/AMD’s, colleagues within the HB and Senior colleagues in NHS organisations, members of the public, the Welsh Assembly Government and other external partners.

The Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC) was established on 1 April 2010 and undertakes the joint planning of Specialised and Tertiary Services on behalf of the 7 Local Health Boards.
