SHIFT ENGINEERS - VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLE
ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL AND MULTI SKILLED
IMMEDIATE START - up to £45,000 pa dependent on experience
We are looking for experienced Shift Engineers to work in our bakery!!
You'll be a proactive, knowledgeable engineer with previous experience in food production and with good knowledge of the types of machinery we use in the bakery.
Description and Minimum Requirements
To be part of an Engineering Team that carries out Planned Maintenance and Daily Checks, whilst also reacting to Breakdowns and Plant Issues.
General Description
- An Engineer who has the ability to carry out a PPM in its entirety, and be able to locate issues and rectify them to ensure the Machines run continuously.
- Ability to carry out Daily Checks and ensure that all Site Utilities are operating correctly.
- An Engineer who can quickly react and respond to a Machine Breakdown, find the issue and be able to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
- Work through the Engineering Work Requests, documenting all work completed whilst relaying it back to Production.
- Ensure that ALL Tools and Equipment used within the Food Factory are left clean, tidy and have all been accounted for.
- Ability to carry out projects and jobs, and complete them to a certain timescale provided by the Manager/Supervisor.
- The ability to work fully within the rules of Food Hygiene, whilst completing jobs to a high standard.
- Able to show basic Electrical skills and knowledge when working within Electrical Panels around the Factory. Showing a good level of understanding and safety when carrying out Electrical jobs.
- An Engineer who can show a level of competency when completing Mechanical jobs around the Plant, and a level of understanding on what Materials and Equipment to use when completing certain jobs.
- Ability to talk confidently, and show full understanding of Breakdowns in Engineering Meetings.
- Able to fill out full Shift Reports, and be Computer Literate when using Emails and general computer programs.
You will need to be resident in the UK and be authorised to live and work here on a permanent basis with indefinite leave to remain. We are unable to sponsor candidates.
Previous experience of Food Production is essential and sight of qualifications will be required before starting.
