Role Overview & Responsibilities
Would you like to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team, Forensic Services are looking to recruit a Drugs Laboratory Officer on a full time permanent basis.
Forensic Services carry out crime scene investigations and a range of forensic analysis and evidence handling as part of the investigation process.
As a Drugs Laboratory Officer, you will provide specialist advice and knowledge and assist in the routine reporting of analysis for the 5 East Midlands Region Police Forces.
If you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, are able to work under pressure and can prioritise and plan workloads this could be the role for you.
You will need to hold a science based qualification to A level standard or have experience working at an equivalent level. You will also need a full UK driving licence.
Please be aware that due to the security checks required for this role you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK.
