SUMMARY

Position: Finance Analysts: Reconciliation and Settlements

Location: In-office or Hybrid

Hours: 14:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday (6 hours working, 1 hour break)

Salary: £25,000 plus commission structure (30 hours per week)

Holiday: 20 Days + Bank Holidays

Digital RFQ is an international remittance company, we help settle and remit payments and transfers globally with institutional-grade infrastructure. We are looking for a team member to join our innovative and growing company to assist the trading team with settlements, reconciliations and payment keying.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update a daily reconciliation that covers a number of bank accounts and asset registers;
• Conduct a daily closing balance and treasury;
• Update client financial trackers (where applicable);
• Perform month-end procedures such as updating asset register, back-up of bank statements, etc;
• Identify and ensure client funds are segregated from company funds;
• Identify any incorrect or over-payments and bring them to the attention of appropriate supervisory personnel;
• Research unidentified payments to determine an appropriate resolution
• Coordinate remittances for customers and the company;
• Assist in the preparation of company accounts & financial statements, submission of annual accounts and preparation of forecasts;
• Assist in the development of safeguarding controls and processes;
• Other job-related duties as assigned;

The position sits as part of our trade team and there will be opportunities to work towards becoming a trader, if desired. Commission structure is part of the trade desk.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ideal: 1 years experience of bookkeeping or settlements;
• Ideal: advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Google sheets);
• Ideal: you will have an accounting qualification or similar financial educational background, ACCA / CIMA is a bonus;
• Ideal: experience in the payment processing sector;
• Ideal: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ideal: Detail-oriented, organisational and time management skills
• Ideal: Ability to prioritise and multitask

WORKING CONDITIONS AND LOCATION

This is a Hybrid position that can either be located at our London Office or a combination of working from home with days in our London based office. Office hours are 13:00 to 20:00, work from home hours are 14:00 to 21:00. Therefore, travel to London is essential. During your probation and training period, the number of days expected in the office will be more.

All equipment will be provided by Digital RFQ
