Assistant Studio Manager

What are we looking for?

Doc Black Ink is looking for an Assistant Manager for the studio within the Metrocentre, Gateshead.

Working closely with the Studio Manager you will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a coaching management style, being clear, open and honest. You will ensure colleagues are trained to the highest of standards whilst having the ability to take corrective action when necessary.

The successful candidate will need to be able to manage a range of individuals such as body piercers, tattoo artists and reception staff, therefore a background in the tattoo and piercing industry or beauty studios is preferred but not neccesary.

The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude towards their role with the ability to work well under pressure. Management experience is required.

Please note this position is based on 30-35 hours a week, wage to be discussed in interview. Please do not apply for apprentice opportunities.
