Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 full time seasonal Visitor Experience Hosts to join the Highland Park team. Reporting to the Visitor Experience Manager, these roles will welcome and engage with every visitor from the moment they arrive at the retail store or distillery, ensuring all visitors experience our 5-star hospitality. The VE Host will also take on responsibility for supporting the Visitor Experience Manager regarding customer distillery tour enquiries and bookings. Professional conduct is always expected with visitors and staff.
Job Description
The key areas of responsibilities will be:
- To welcome all visitors with professionalism and respect while delivering a 5-star visitor experience across all areas of Highland Park retail store and distillery, in line with Edrington customer service standards.
- To have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and approach to work.
- Through engagement and personal drive, ensure that every visitor leaves having had an unforgettable and personal experience.
- To support the Visitor Experience Manager with customer enquiries and bookings.
- To ensure a 5-star standard of housekeeping, cleanliness and organisation is maintained in the retail store, visitor centre and any other customer and non-customer facing areas.
- To complete all training requirements as appropriate to ensure effective and efficient job performance and to keep up to date with all relevant visitor experience, brand information, education materials, and be fully aware of all bespoke product offerings across the brand range.
- To ensure that the visitor experience is consistently exceptional and in line with the Brand guidelines.
- To keep up to date with stock knowledge regarding pricing, product origination, product function and story.
- Professionally handle all customer transactions and cashing up procedures.
- Responsible for stock security, stock control & rotation, following best practice and company guidelines.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have a positive, enthusiastic, committed ‘can do’ attitude and have previous customer service/retail experience. The ability to work under pressure is key and there will be a need to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends. Having a valid driving licence/D1 minibus license would be a distinct advantage.
