Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently in the process of recruiting a part-time PE Teacher for our alternative education programme in Sunderland (term-time only).
This role will involve:
- Delivering engaging theory and practical lessons (Sports Leadership).
- Managing a small team of staff.
- Creating positive relationships with young people, parents and carers.
- Creating positive relationships with schools.
- Managing challenging behaviour.
- Completing in house administration (attendance, weekly reports and half-term reports).
- Arranging for guest speakers to attend the programme.
- Arranging sporting events for young people throughout the academic year.
- Supporting with setting up community projects in line with the Directors vision.
- Supporting young people with finding sports clubs in the community.
Hours = 8.30am - 4.30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
