Role Overview & Responsibilities
Etills Ltd is a successful manufacturer of water tanks and spill containment.
We are looking for a factory worker to take on the role of rotational moulder at our Melbourn factory. This position is suitable for anyone who enjoys physical work. No qualifications or experience are needed - just the determination to work hard as part of the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up machines and equipment used for plastic rotational moulding
- Follow all appropriate safety regulations
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Maintain time and production records
- Work on the assembly of rotationally moulded products if required
- Maintain working area, keeping it clean and tidy
- Carry out other factory tasks as required
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Follow instructions
- Monitor own work to ensure quality
- Follow safety procedures
- Show initiative and volunteer readily
- Ask for and offers help when needed
- Communicate effectively in English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- You will be required to regularly lift and move 20kg. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
