Mig Welder/Fabricator
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our engineering team is looking for a Mig Welder to join our strong and growing team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in a production welding environment, using welding techniques and modern welding technology to produce precise and quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced welders on the team to complete projects related to the assembly of components and machinery. The job will involve alloy and steel welding, some experience will be desirable and ongoing training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Weld metal pieces together by using a welding torch and other tools.
- Locate and mark the pieces to be welded to ensure they are aligned.
- Connect the pieces using strong metal joints.
- Follow the weld procedure.
- Finish the welding job by grinding and painting.
- Be alert in order to prevent injuries.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week
Salary: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
