MIG Welder

The 300,00 sq ft site is based close to Meadowhall, Sheffield and has excellent career and company opportunities to progress. The role will be on a permanent contract and the successful candidate will need experience within MIG welding.

Up to £19 an hour DOE

Responsibilities

• To review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
• Perform MIG and JIG welding activities
• Ensure compliance to Health and safety standards as directed by the Company
• Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required
• This is not an exhaustive list and may be reviewed at any time to reflect current or changing practices

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Ability to read engineering drawings is desirable
• Experience as a fabricator/welder within steel/metal
• Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
• Good communicator at all levels
• Reliable and enthusiastic
• Able to work to deadlines efficiently
• Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely

Working Location/Environment

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Various Shift Patters;

Night Shifts Monday to Wednesday 8pm-6am and Thursday 8:30pm-6am or

Rotational Shifts of both shifts days (6am-2pm) and nights (8pm-6am and 8:30pm-6am)

NIGHT SHIFT INCLUDING AN ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCE OF £15 PER SHIFT ON A 4 DAY WEEK £60 FOR THE WEEK
