Founders Factory is unlike anywhere else. We create entirely new products from scratch and turn promising concepts into prototypes, and ultimately an MVP, validating decisions commercially along the way to attract a founding team that can spin out into a fully-fledged business

The concept has already been through the Founders Factory Studio, time in which we’ve reached some key milestones:
1) First signs of Product-Market Fit
2) Built Prototype MVP
3) Received early investor interest based on Beta version addressing a big, urgent problem
What exactly is the concept?
Gigu helps D2C ecommerce businesses to enter new, international markets with ease and confidence.
Manufacturing and shipping physical products is hard. Most physical-product businesses begin fulfilling from their own country - often even someone’s spare room! The process of expanding globally is stressful; there is no central source of information and it is hard to determine if the potential gain of entering a new market is worth the implementation or operational costs.
Gigu empowers physical-product businesses to scale to new territories by connecting to their e-commerce store and telling them exactly what they need to do.
From advising where to store their inventory, to ensuring they have met all regulatory and compliance laws, we give them peace of mind that no box has been left unticked. As they expand to new markets, we give them full visibility on their operations and management, including optimising inventory management, ensuring regulatory compliance and submission of customs paperwork.
Over time, our data-driven platform can also advise which territory to enter next based on both their product performance and our trend analysis.

We are now looking for a founder to accelerate this business and focus on:
- Execute the successful launch of GiGu
- Acquire customers, demonstrate traction
- Activate partnerships and supercharge growth
- Build a founding team
- Further fundraising
- Everything and anything else that comes with building a Venture backed startup!
We are looking for the following skills and background:
- Lived experience of the pain point - you’ve been through these problems yourself when expanding a small D2C brand, ideally built on shopify, into new markets and/or
- Have grown the user base of a SaaS solution targeted at small businesses from 0-100 and
- Have experience in a leadership capacity (you love challenges and solving complex problems)
- Are brilliant at hiring and retaining a world class team beyond the founders
- Have experience in, or be comfortable fundraising from VCs
