Dog Walker

Due to increasing demand, we’re creating a new position here at Fox & The Hounds Pet Services.

With an ever growing waiting list for potential clients based in Congleton and the surrounding areas. We’re looking to employ someone on a freelance basis, who we hope to build a new diary around.

The ideal candidate must live local to the area, own and be willing to use their own vehicle, have a history working with animals and be able to demonstrate the following qualities;

- Confidence handling dogs of all sizes
- Confidence handling more than one dog at a time
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Excellent self-management skills
- Ability to function under pressure
- Ability to demonstrate patience

- Be physically able to achieve 10,000+ steps on a daily basis (with a full diary) in all weathers on all surfaces
- Be able to commit to an expected work day pattern of 10:00 to 15:00 (with a full diary)
- Ability to access apps used on either iPhone or Android

Qualities preferred but not essential;

- An interest in photography

Prior to starting with us, the successful candidate will be expected to;

- Consent to a DBS Check
- Sign a 'Terms of Work Agreement'

Closing date: April 16th

Job Types: Permanent, Freelance

Salary: Up to £36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
