IT Assistant - 1st Line Support

Position:

• Support our business with first line support for both software and hardware

• Upkeep of the network and phone lines

• Ensure that the department is kept clean and well organised at all times.

• Effectively and professionally, communicate with stakeholders, employees and other teams.

• Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are followed

• Supporting the business with hardware and software on a shop floor level as and when required

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic

• Good communication skills/written & verbal

• Ability to provide timely and accurate record of works using IT support system

• Ability to organise and prioritise work

• Good technical problem solving skills

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently alone or as part of a team

• Minimum 1 years’ experience within the IT Industry

• BSc (Honours) in a Computing or IT related subject

• Experience with basic networking

• Experience with Active Directory

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange

• Good knowledge of Excel (Formulae, Macros, etc.)
