Defensive Driver Trainer (ADI)
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our firm is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Driver Trainer with experience in instructing in cars, vans and pick up's.
The ideal candidate is required to be a DVSA ADI and will be able to train students on defensive driver training courses throughout Scotland on a governmental framework agreement. The successful Driver Trainer will be willing to travel, since he or she will be required to visit a new location each week and stay away from Monday through Thursday where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that trainees complete all driving courses under supervision.
- Communicate with learners in a friendly manner and act as a role model.
- Conduct both classroom instruction and practical training in safe driving techniques.
- Be able to correct and dissuade trainees from dangerous driving behaviour.
- Explain the benefits of safe driving to learners and emphasise the importance of following all driving rules and regulations.
- Conduct post assessment critique to students and written reports back to company weekly
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25.00 per hour
