Kitchen Porter / Cleaner

Gilda Bakery is seeking a part-time kitchen porter to work on Friday and Saturday mornings to help the bakers at its thriving bakery near Canterbury, Kent.

• Position: Part-time Kitchen porter/washing up
• Hours: The role would be approx 6 hour shifts, starting at 7am. If desired, it could lead to more hours or potentially full-time.
• Experience: Ideally we are looking for someone experienced although it is not essential and all training will be given.
• Role: You will be mainly washing up, tidying, cleaning and assisting the bakers.
• Location: The fully refurbished new premises is surrounded by stunning AONB countryside and situated in a bustling rural food hub including an independent butchers, tea rooms, homeware boutique and a farm shop.
• Summary / further details The position is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing food business with good working conditions, competitive pay, and beautiful countryside surroundings yet 5 minutes from Canterbury. You will need a driving licence and your own transport as we are not served by public transport.
