Role Overview & Responsibilities
The role will involve being the main milker responsible for the day to day milking and feeding Youngstock.
We milk 110 cows twice a day through a 16 point herringbone parlour. Cows graze from February to November then cubicle house. Autumn calving.
Each Milking and wash down usually take 2.5 hrs.
Shifts are 5 til 9.30am then 3-6.30pm. Mon - Fri and preferably every other weekend negotiable.
PREVIOUS MILKING EXPERIENCE is essential with an understanding of antibiotic and withdrawal dates. The ability to drive a tractor is advantageous. Candidates without milking experience will not be required.
Producing high quality milk the right candidate will be a competent clean milker, passionate about cows, eager to achieve results.
Accomodation is available on farm at reduced rate..
