Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are a world leading manufacturer of PA & Guitar speakers In the heart of Suffolk looking to employ an experienced Production Manager/Planner to join our established team. Someone who will take ownership and pride in producing our highly regarded products. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced and exciting environment. The working hours are 41.5 hours per week, Mondays - Thursdays, 0630 - 1600, and Fridays 0630 - 1200.
The Role:
An experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage the production team and schedule all production activities using MRP system and all other resources available.

- Diligent and analytical
- Good eye for detail
- Ability to motivate and enthusiastic
Duties to include:
- Planning and directing workloads of Production operatives
- Support and be directly responsible for Supervisors and their teams of operatives
- Work within H&S standards to ensure a clean safe working environment is maintained along with safe working practices
- Review MPS and create a workable monthly production schedule in support of sales
- Check availability of materials using all available aids
- Implement company procedure and policy
- Communicating and escalating problems or obstacles
- Assessing resource requirements
- Negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Oversee the production process
Experience required:
- Worked as a Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Expedited plans and activities while leading a team
- Effective communication at all levels
- Use of MRP/ERP systems
- Understands how to meet KPI’s
Advantageous:
- Practiced in LEAN manufacture
- Understands 5s
- ISO9001/2015

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
