Care Assistant

Working in a Residential Care Home in South Derbyshire in line with increasing residency and staffing levels. Being part of a team who care for elderly people living with Dementia, Sensory Impairments and/or Physical Limitations. Providing support daily at whatever level individuals need, whilst observing dignity, respect and giving choice. Emphasis on promoting independence, whilst responding to all physical, nutritional, cultural, social and emotional needs, in a warm, comfortable, safe, caring and homely environment. In house accredited training will be mandatory in various areas and will be arranged and funded for successful applicants. Enhanced DBS disclosure required, successful applicants will be required attend to submit an application. Posts involve working morning, afternoon or night shifts dependent on which post is applied for and consists of a 3 weekly Rota including alternating share of weekend work, with weekends on duty and weekends off duty

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

Salary: £10.98-£11.20 per hour
