GRAUN is looking for multiple full-time or Part time. Senior or Junior Software Development engineer to help build our SAAS products. As one of our initial key hires you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and influence the direction of our company. This role isn't just about knocking out code - we want to hear your ideas too.
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience developing and understanding different programming language. Such as Java, Python , C++ and others.
Requirements
- Analysing client and user requirements
- Writing code that creates new programs that satisfy requirements
- Writing code that develops existing programs to add features or make them more efficient
- Testing code and making adjustments until programs work reliably as required
- Identifying and correcting program bugs
- Writing technical specifications and instructions in collaboration with Technical Writers
- Recommending new programs and technologies to clients and supervisors
Must have
- Experience using or building 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc), 3D applications or equivalent
- Experience with C++ or C# programming
- Experience in any of the following: computer graphics, rendering, physics-based simulation, 3D character animation, advanced optimisation techniques, motion capture, or games middleware/tooling
- Experience shipping one or more products on large code bases that span a range of platforms and tools
- strong understanding of rigging, animation of 2D and 3D art assets
- Ability to translate any design into a working product with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Computational Physics, Computer Graphics, Animation or a similar field
- Experience with any combination of the following: 3D graphics (lighting, effects, shaders or other low-level system), visual effects (VFX), 3D character animation, mobile CPU/GPU programming, gameplay tooling and pipeline development or gameplay development in AR/VR
- Experience mentoring junior staff / interns

Salary: Full time pay £18,240 per annum. Part time pay £9,120 per annum
